Orientation

Today was new student orientation at Garrett College... something very different and very new for me!

The President said this is probably the biggest freshman class Garrett has ever had. They're having to move classes to different rooms to accommodate larger numbers of students. There were a lot of kids down there; the gym was packed.

But I think today was (hopefully) the hard part. I get to start classes tomorrow... which I'm hoping will be easier.
I start with Speech and then go to biology in the afternoon. I'm probably anticipating biology most; I met my bio teacher this morning... a lot of people speak very highly of her.

I am nervous about finding my way around this place though! I've lived a mile away from this place nearly half my life. I've watched the campus grow and renovate... but it seems so much bigger and, um, more "daunting" from inside!

Wow! So have you started yet? What do you think? How many classes do you have? Is it a Christian College? How long are your days? Do you have a lot of homework? How many years will you be there? I pray the LORD gives you wisdom as you start something new.
Blessings,
