Vacation 2011 - Massanutten Mt. Resort

Our vacation was the last week in March, so this (again) is pretty out dated.
We had a really good vacation. We just relaxed and rested and had fun!
We left after Dad got home from work on Friday. It's not a long trip, but all of us have always liked travelling at night... or, I guess in this case, the evening!

Dad at the wheel!

This was our condo. We love having the one all the way at the end :) Ours is the one on the left (we had the upper and lower units of condo 173.

We had hoped that snow would stay in MD and that it might even be sorta warm in VA. No such luck!

But it was beautiful. This is just one of the magnificent views from atop Massanutten Mountain.

This is right off the back deck of the upper unit.

Despite the snow, we were still able to do some fun things.... like swimming. Actually, I'm very spoiled. I didn't get in the pool once; I was always in the hot tub! I couldn't bring myself to get into the cold pool water after getting out of the 120 degree hot tub!

Kaitlyn reading at Le Club where there are a lot of indoor activities. Where she's sitting is in the pool area. There's a large pool, a child's pool, a small indoor hot tube, and a larger out door hot tub. Le Club also has ping-pong tables, arcades, pool tables, a basketball court, and an exercise room (Mom, Karissa, and I went several times to exercise, but Dad went every day!)

And this is Dad's idea of relaxing and fun!
At the time, I had only had my driving permit for a couple weeks, so Dad took me out a couple days and we drove around Harrisonburg and Elkton or where ever it was that he took me!  The one day we stopped at a Advanced Auto, and he got some cleaners. So when we got back to the condo, he took all the seats and everything out of the van and thoroughly cleaned it! Top-to-bottom; inside and out!

Lookin' good... the van and man :)

Karissa took a bunch of scrapbooking stuff and started scrapbooking her Florida pictures :)

Kaleb took a bunch of legos! A bunch!

During vacation was the first time we watched Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye.
After the first episode, we were hopelessly hooked!!

This was Mom's idea, to take pictures of the movies we took :)
These were for me... and Kaleb!

Karissa, Kaitlyn, and Katrina took the Little House movies :)

On Thursday, Aunt Diana met Mom at our condo and they went to see Aunt Margaret (actually she's my great-Aunt).

Can you tell who takes all the pictures ... because she's not in any of these?
Mom took this one Sunday.

This was the day we left. Everything cleaned up and packed in the van.

All our luggage waiting to be loaded... This is the main door to the condo. The door to the upper unit right before the railing right there and lower unit is down those stairs.

On Friday, after we left Massanutten, we drove to Lancaster, PA to Sight & Sound's Millennium Theater to see "Joseph"

This is the front of the theater (minus the reflection of the steering wheel).
The last time we were at this theater was 2002 or '03 to see "Noah". Before that we went to the Living Waters Theater to see "Abraham and Sarah". Mom and Dad went a couple years ago to see "Creation".
They said they've enjoyed all of them, but that Creation was their most favorite and Joseph was probably their least favorite. I liked Joseph though; it's pretty much the only one I can remember! I remember a few scenes from Abraham and Sarah and  Noah but not much.

We all enjoyed it a lot!
